I'd like. "I'd like" stands for "I would like.". Would is modal verb and we often use it, well we can use it for imaginary situations, but in this case, we use it to express a little more politeness. "I'd like" is another way to say, "I want.". And this is used when you want something specific in that moment or in the future.

However, somehow, to me, I'd like [what you want] is half-baked and unsatisfying; and the complete sentence (or better sounding) is I'd like to have [what you want]. You add please when someone asks you what you want to eat and you can leave it out when you are just talking about what you are (possibly) going to eat. 1 and 2 are a statement of desire. 3 is a polite statement. If there was a question mark at the end of the sentence it would be a request. 4 is a question.
